We know there are superstar travel agents out there looking for a stable, focused and fun environment. They need a change because they are superstars in a cloudy environment... they just can't shine as bright as they want! Is that you? Well, here's the skinny...
We're looking for a strategic minded people-person who approaches every engagement with a solution-oriented mindset. We need someone who understands the importance of forging genuine relationships seamlessly through affability and insight. Most importantly, we want someone who is über passionate about travel and the opportunities it presents for people. We want a consultant that will nourish and grow client relationships over the long term with the ability to identify client needs even before the client recognizes them.
Youre a glass half-full kind of person that exudes positive energy with a can-do attitude. You see the big-picture, contribute killer ideas, and have the ability to communicate them thoroughly and effectively to any and all team members.
You're a superstar. You know it. You talk the talk and walk the walk.
A Day In The Life of the Travel Leaders "Splash" a Professional Travel Consultant.
The Strategist: You will be expected to stay in the know. Your clients expect it as well as your peers and management. Reading, discussing, practicing and performing our core strategies will be second nature to you. You love an action plan. You love to have a plan of attack every day and always complete it, under no uncertain terms. Thats just how you roll.
The Multitasker: Youll need to manage and work with other consultants, managers and ownership to review open, ongoing and upcoming sales opportunities, impact area tasks, and training sessions. Youll lend insights obtained from the strong relationships youve built with clients to ensure goals are being addressed and expectations are always exceeded; all the while creating policies, improvements, and ideas side-by-side with your peers and supervisors voluntarily throughout the day and at scheduled workshops.
The Risk Mitigator: You make your clients lives an exciting, outrageous and a whole lot easier. Youre honest, knowledgeable and always available to answer any questions they may have about their travels where you are in your research, and how you are doing in the process. While some things may sound more complicated than they truly are, youll simplify all the industry lingo and technical mumbo-jumbo, walk your clients through your research plan and clearly outline what they can expect from you, when and why.
The Reporter: Chatting with clients can be fun! You do it better than most and never forget about the fun(damentals). You understand and support the importance of the organizations core philosophies everything from our Core Story, Sales Steps, Follow-Up Procedures and more. Conversation recaps, personal interests of your client, travel specifications and education based selling should all be of second nature to you. Its your responsibility to carefully catalog critical and valuable information about your clients.
The Brand Advocate: This ones easy. Your number one goal is to Make Your Clients Happy. As much as youll be a brand ambassador for Travel Leaders Splash, youll also need to prove your commitment to your clients. By proactively identifying travel opportunities for your clients, youll continue to grow in our relationship as well as your clients. If youre a good listener and a forward-thinker this should be a no brainer.
The Money: Youre paid on your performance. We are looking for winners. If you expect to be #1 most likely you will be. If youre content being in the middle of the pack this would not be the right place for you. If you are the number one producer here, you are the highest paid consultant. Thats how we roll.
The Perks: We offer the normal perks including vacation, sick, holiday pay, and unpaid leave of absences. Plus, great travel perks including paid days off for travel, and a travel allowance (but, you have to earn the travel perks. You knew that though). No health or dental coverage. Oh yeah! The Leader: You want it all. You want to be the best. You know you will achieve that. But, its not enough (hey, winners know how winners think!). Now you want to lead the troops! Youve mastered the company core philosophies and are oozing with excitement to share your skills and create more winners just like you! Yep, we have those opportunities too. The Start Date: Easier there superstar! First things first. You need to submit your resume with your travel sales experience (and all the other good stuff). We need to set-up a 10 minute pre-screening. You're a superstar, so in 10 minutes well know it. (Or, um, otherwise). Then, we'll schedule one-on-one meetings with our top candidates. The final step is a personality profile test to help us define the fit. Then you may very well be coming in and showing the travel world how superstars can really make a difference!
